حوزه مخابرات
خدمات پیام تلکام در حوزه مخابرات به دو قسمت ثابت و سیار تقسیم میشود.
در بخش مخابرات ثابت آینده از آنِ FTTx است. FTTx مفهومی است که بیانگر میزان پیشرفت فیبر نوری در شبکه دسترسی میباشد.به جای x میتواند یکی از حروف زیر قرار بگیرد:
FTTC (Fiber to the Curb /or Cabinet) : فیبر تا کابینت موجود در خیابان
FTTB (Fiber to the Building) : فیبر تا درب ورودی ساختمان
FTTH (Fiber to the Home) : فیبر تا داخل منزل (واحد مسکونی)
FTTO (Fiber to the Office) : فیبر تا داخل دفتر کار (کاربر تجاری)
FTTD (Fiber to the Desk) : فیبر تا میز کار
FTTW (Fiber to the Wireless) : فیبر تا اکسس پوینت وایرلس (که بیشتر کاربرد تجاری دارد)
